For even more savings, if you purchase all-inclusive when you made your initial reservation, kids 12 and under can stay and eat free on reservations through December 20, 2024. If you add all-inclusive to a current room-only reservation or purchase all-inclusive from the front desk, Kids 2 and under stay and eat free. Both offers are based on double occupancy for a minimum of three nights and are limited to one child per paying adult with a maximum of two children per room.

Aruba's temperature remains constant year-round, averaging about 80°F (27°C) each day, and water temperatures around 78°F (25°C). Trade winds provide constant cooling and there is a little rainfall in the fall season. Aruba is located outside of the hurricane belt.

DRUIF BEACH

The water at this expansive white sand beach is calm all year. It's located across a small street at the entrance of the resort.

The beach is easily accessible via our complimentary resort shuttle.

BEACH CHAIRS & PALAPAS

Beach chairs are complimentary for all guests and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any chairs left unattended for more than two hours will be reassigned to other guests. Please do not place articles on beach chairs before 7 a.m. Reserving chairs or palapas in advance is not allowed.

Beach chairs & palapas are spaced out to provide the recommended social distancing.

BEACH SAFETY

There is no lifeguard on duty, therefore swimming and diving are at your own risk. Please be especially attentive to the safety of children while on the beach. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and infants or toddlers who are still in diapers, MUST wear a “swim diaper” or plastic pants with elastic waist and legs.

Please do not bring glass containers to the beach area and comply with all posted beach signs. Proper beach attire is required at all times. Play it safe and always wear reef-safe sunscreen.

BEACH TOWELS

You will be given one beach towel for each person in your party, which will be placed in your room upon check-in and refreshed daily.

Used towels can be returned and dropped off at the towel hut (placed in the towel bin at Seabreeze or Infinity pools) or taken to the room and exchanged when fresh towels are delivered.

Dirty towels may be replaced for the same number of clean towels.

We kindly ask that you consider the environment and change your towel only once per day.

CHECK-IN
Our resort’s official check-in time is 4:00 p.m., but we always try to have your room ready for you as soon as possible. Please understand that Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest days for arrivals and departures, and your room may not be ready until the official check-in time.

For your safety, we have added hand sanitizer stations at our lobby entrances and exits, and social distancing must be followed at all times.

Our bellman staff will follow special safety procedures when handling luggage and assisting guests to their units. Luggage will be left at the front door, and bellman will not enter the unit.

CHECKOUT
Our resort’s official checkout time is 10:00 a.m. As a consideration to arriving guests, please plan to vacate your room at this time so we can have it fresh and clean for the next guest. A late checkout fee of $100 for 2 hours (up to 12:00 p.m.) will be charged to your account for late departures.

Your bill will be delivered to your room the night prior to your checkout date. To avoid long lines at checkout, please call the Front Desk prior to leaving your room, and we will process your credit card on file for any room or incidental charges.

If you are not leaving the resort immediately, and you have vacated your room, your luggage can be checked with the bell staff and stored safely until your departure.

The official currency of Aruba is the Aruban Florin, but US dollars are accepted everywhere, and nearly all prices are listed in US dollars. It is not necessary to exchange US dollars into the local currency, but if you would like to make an exchange, please visit the front desk.

On Aruba, vehicles drive on the right-hand side of the road and international traffic signals are used. Our beachfront fitness center is located across the street from our resort, above the Beach Bar, on the second floor of the building. The fitness center is open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., and accessible using your room key. Guests in buildings A through F, will need to ask for a room key at the Front Desk. The gym has stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the ocean and the latest exercise equipment.

Please limit your workout on any cardiovascular machine to 30 minutes when others are waiting. Children between the ages of 8 and 15 should be under strict adult supervision when exercising. Children under 8 years of age are not allowed in the fitness center.

Many children in Aruba go to school without breakfast, adversely affecting their concentration and energy levels. In partnership with Gerrit Griffith, our previous General Manager, and Ban Uni Man Pa Cria Nos Muchanan (meaning "Let's Join Hands to Feed Our Children"), we have initiated a program to provide local children with nourishing breakfast.

On Aruba, most locals speak, write, and read English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento, however, Dutch is the official language of the island. During the fall and winter, 12 p.m. on the east coast of the United States is 1 p.m. on the island. During U.S. Daylight Savings Time, it’s the same on the eastern seaboard as it is on the island.

Washers and dryers can be found on the second floor of buildings A, B, and D. In building C, the washers and dryers are on the second and fourth floors. The laundry rooms on the second floor are equipped with soap dispensers. Our washing machines and dryers require U.S. quarters. Detergent and fabric softeners are available for purchase at the Mini-Mart on our property.

Golf Villas and Villas at Divi Village have washers and dryers in the units.

Dry cleaning is available Monday-Saturday. Please fill in the laundry list provided in your suite and dial ext. 0 before 8 a.m. Please indicate if express/same-day service is required. Service on Sundays and holidays is not available.

Please note that all rooms at our resort are non-smoking. Smoking is strictly limited to designated areas on the resort premises.

To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly request that you use designated receptacles when smoking and properly dispose of cigarette butts. Please be mindful of the island's windy conditions and show consideration to non-smokers who may be nearby.

Please be aware that a sanitation fee of $300 will be applied to your account if smoking occurs inside your suite. Thank you for your cooperation.

Parking is free of charge at all Divi Resorts on Aruba as well as at Alhambra Casino and Shops. Although our parking lot is well lit and regularly patrolled, we recommend that you lock your car doors and windows, and do not leave valuables or your room key in your vehicle. We assume no liability for theft/or damage to your vehicle.

PRACTICE AREA SAFETY RULES

The Links at Divi Aruba prioritizes your safety and enjoyment. Please adhere to the following rules in our practice area:

• Golf balls cannot be removed from the hitting cages.
• Please do not swing clubs outside of the driving cages.
• Only one person at a time is allowed in each hitting area.
• Kids under 12 are not allowed without supervision.

While in the Practice Area, Remember:

• You are required to maintain a 10-foot distance from other players.
• Be aware of people golfing in the practice areas.
• Check surroundings before swinging any club to avoid others or obstacles.
• Pay attention to balls exiting the bay at high speeds.
• Direct shots only toward the hitting screen.

Practice Area Etiquette:

• Practice swings allowed only in designated hitting areas.
• Stay out of the range of other people’s swings and plays.
• Report any accidents immediately to the staff.

Responsibility and Surveillance:

• Customers are financially responsible for any damage due to non-compliance with Practice Area Safety Rules.
• The Links at Divi Aruba's practice area is under 24-hour video surveillance.

• Photography and/or videography may be recorded and used for promotional purposes without compensation.

The downtown harbor and Oranjestad are also excellent places to shop for high-end goods, and you’ll find plenty of perfume, jewelry, clothing, souvenirs, and more.
