St. Maarten's temperature remains constant year-round, averaging about 80°F (27°C) each day with water temperatures around 78°F (25°C). Trade winds provide constant cooling and there is a little rainfall in the late summer and fall season.
Our fabulous beach has miles of while sand and our gentle waves are safe for families with kids. You can stretch out on the beach under the shade of an umbrella and enjoy beach service from Gizmo’s Bar & Grill.
Beach chairs, sun shelters, and umbrellas are complimentary for all guests and are available on a first come, first-served basis. Any chairs left unattended for more than two hours will be reassigned to other guests. Please do not place articles on the beach chairs before 7 a.m. Reserving beach chairs, sun shelters, and umbrellas is not allowed.
Chairs are spaced out to provide the recommended social distancing.
There is no lifeguard on duty, therefore swimming is at your own risk. Please be especially attentive to the safety of children while near the ocean. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and infants or toddlers who are still in diapers MUST wear a swim diaper or plastic pants with elastic waist and legs.
Please do not bring glass containers to the beach areas. Proper beach attire is always required. We ask that you help us protect our ecosystem and wear reef-safe sunscreen! We also ask that you extinguish cigarettes in the receptacles provided and respect other guests by keeping noise to a minimum after 8 p.m. Please read and comply with all rules posted signs.
You will be given one beach towel for each person in your party. Between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily, you can collect or exchange your towels at the water sports center behind the spa or at the Concierge and Front Desks in the lobby. Dirty towels may be replaced for the same number of clean towels.
We kindly ask that you consider the environment and change your towels only once per day.

CHECK-IN
Our resort’s official check-in time is 4:00 p.m., but we always try to have your room ready for you as soon as possible. Please understand that Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest days for arrivals and departures, and your room may not be ready until the official check-in time.
CHECKOUT
Our resort’s official checkout time is 10:00 a.m. As a consideration to arriving guests, please plan to vacate your room at this time so we can have it fresh and clean for the next guest. A late checkout fee of $100 for 2 hours (up to 12:00 p.m.) will be charged to your account for late departures.
Your bill will be delivered to your room the night prior to your checkout date. To avoid long lines at checkout, please call the Front Desk prior to leaving your room, and we will process your credit card on file for any room or incidental charges.
If you are not leaving the resort immediately, and you have vacated your room, your luggage can be checked with the bell staff and stored safely until your departure.
Divi Resorts' CLEAN CHECK Program offers enhanced hygiene standards and health and safety measures at every resort. Before you travel, please visit our Clean Check page to learn about our social distancing and cleaning protocols.
We offer a complimentary golf cart shuttle service that runs all day and into the evening hours. The shuttle stops at our restaurants and bars, rooms and suites, water sports center, spa, shops, and pools.

The official currency of Dutch St. Maarten is the Netherlands Antilles Florin or Guilder (NAF). The US dollar is also widely accepted. Nearly all prices are listed in US dollars as well as the local currency. On the French side, the official currency is the Euro, but many outlets also accept the US dollar. The nearest ATMs are located at Divi Little Bay Superette (mini mart) in the shopping promenade, on Bush Road, and in Philipsburg.

The resorts dress code is laid-back and informal. Eveningwear is typically casual. It is not permitted to remove any part of your swimwear on the beach or around the pool.
There is no need to purchase bottled water in St. Maarten, as the island's tap water is pure and meets the highest standards set by the World Health Organization.
On St. Maarten and St. Martin, vehicles drive on the right-hand side of the road and international traffic signals are used. Foreign and international driver's licenses are valid.

Our 24-hour fitness center offers the latest exercise equipment and is accessible with your room key.
Please limit your workout on any cardiovascular machine to 30 minutes when others are waiting. Children between the ages of 8 and 15 should be under direct adult supervision when exercising. Children under 8 years of age are not allowed in the fitness center.
All guests are required to follow social distancing when using the fitness center and sanitize equipment before and after use.

In St. Maarten, most inhabitants speak, write and read English and Dutch. Other common languages spoken are French, Spanish and Creole. During the fall and winter, 12 p.m. on the east coast of the United States is 1 p.m. on the island. During U.S. Daylight Savings Time, it’s the same on the eastern seaboard as it is on the island.
Some of the units at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort have washing machines and dryers. For guests staying in rooms without a washing machine and dryer, we offer convenient coin operated machines at the resort. These machines take US quarters.
Please note that all rooms at our resort are non-smoking. Smoking is strictly limited to designated areas on the resort premises, as well as on your own patio or balcony.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly request that you use ashtrays or designated receptacles when smoking and properly dispose of cigarette butts. Please be mindful of the island's windy conditions and show consideration to non-smokers who may be nearby.
Please be aware that a sanitation fee of $300 will be applied to your account if smoking occurs inside your suite. Thank you for your cooperation.

Parking is free of charge at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort. Although our parking lot is well lit and regularly patrolled, we recommend that you lock your car doors and windows, and do not leave valuables or your room key in your vehicle. We assume no liability for theft/or damage to your vehicle.

Aqua Mania Adventures Water Sports is located behind the spa on the beach. Guests can rent kayaks, jet skis, snorkeling gear, and book island tours, as well as purchase beach supplies, toys, and more.
