Aruba's temperature remains constant year-round, averaging about 80°F (27°C) each day, and with water temperatures around 78°F (25°C). Trade winds provide constant cooling and there is a little rainfall in the fall season. Aruba is located outside of the hurricane belt.

Palm Beach

The water at this famous white sand beach is calm all year. All of our accommodations are just steps from the beach with stunning views.

Beach Chairs & Palapas

Beach chairs are complimentary for all guests and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware that you cannot reserve chairs in advance. Any chairs left unattended for more than two hours will be reassigned to other guests. Please do not place articles on pool chairs before 7 a.m. Reserving chairs or palapas in advance is not allowed.

Beach Safety

There is no lifeguard on duty, therefore swimming and diving are at your own risk. Please be especially attentive to the safety of children while on the beach. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and infants or toddlers who are still in diapers MUST wear a “swim diaper” or plastic pants with elastic waist and legs.

Please do not bring glass containers to the beach area and comply with all posted beach signs. Proper beach attire is required at all times. Play it safe and always wear reef-safe sunscreen.

Beach Towels

You will be given one beach towel for each person in your party, which will be placed in your room upon check-in and refreshed daily.

Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily, used towels can be returned or dropped off at the Beach Towel Hut located on the pathway next to the beach and hot tub, or taken to your room and returned when fresh towels are delivered.

Dirty towels may be replaced for the same number of clean towels.

We kindly ask that you consider the environment and change your towel only once per day.

CHECK-IN
Our resort’s official check-in time is 4:00 p.m., but we always try to have your room ready for you as soon as possible. Please understand that Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest days for arrivals and departures, and your room may not be ready until the official check-in time.

CHECKOUT
Our resort’s official checkout time is 10:00 a.m. As a consideration to arriving guests, please plan to vacate your room at this time so we can have it fresh and clean for the next guest. A late checkout fee of $100 for 2 hours (up to 12:00 p.m.) will be charged to your account for late departures.

Your bill will be delivered to your room the night prior to your checkout date. To avoid long lines at checkout, please call the Front Desk prior to leaving your room, and we will process your credit card on file for any room or incidental charges.

If you are not leaving the resort immediately, and you have vacated your room, your luggage can be checked with the bell staff and stored safely until your departure.

The official currency of Aruba is the Aruban Florin, but US dollars are accepted everywhere, and nearly all prices are listed in US dollars. It is not necessary to exchange US dollars into the local currency.

The resort's dress code is laid-back and informal. Evening wear is typically casual. It is not permitted to remove any part of your swimwear on the beach or around the pool.

There is no need to purchase bottled water on Aruba, as the island's tap water is pure and meets the highest standards set by the World Health Organization.

On Aruba, vehicles drive on the right-hand side of the road and international traffic signals are used. Foreign and international driver's licenses are valid. Our 24-hour fitness center, located on the second floor of the main tower next to the spa, offers the latest exercise equipment and is accessible with your room key.

Before using the facility for the first time, please sign the Attendance Form. Please limit your workout on any cardiovascular machine to 30 minutes when others are waiting. Children between the ages of 8 and 15 should be under strict and direct adult supervision when exercising. Children under 8 years of age are not allowed in the fitness center.

All guests are required to follow social distancing protocols when using the fitness center and sanitize equipment before and after use.

Many children in Aruba go to school without breakfast, adversely affecting their concentration and energy levels. In partnership with Gerrit Griffith, our previous General Manager, and Ban Uni Man Pa Cria Nos Muchanan (meaning "Let's Join Hands to Feed Our Children"), we have initiated a program to provide local children with nourishing breakfast.

We will add a dollar to your final bill for each day of your stay in Aruba, which will be donated to this uplifting organization. Divi Resorts will cover all administrative costs, and 100% of your donation will go directly to the foundation. Your generosity is highly appreciated.

On Aruba, most locals speak, write, and read English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento, however, Dutch is the official language of the island. During the fall and winter, 12 p.m. on the east coast of the United States is 1 p.m. on the island. During U.S. Daylight Savings Time, it’s the same on the eastern seaboard as it is on the island.

Some of the units at Divi Aruba Phoenix have washer/dryers. For guests staying in rooms without a washer/dryer, we offer convenient coin-operated machines in several locations throughout the resort. These machines take US quarters.

Please note that all rooms at our resort are non-smoking. Smoking is strictly limited to designated areas on the resort premises.

To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly request that you use designated receptacles when smoking and properly dispose of cigarette butts. Please be mindful of the island's windy conditions and show consideration to non-smokers who may be nearby.

Please be aware that a sanitation fee of $300 will be applied to your account if smoking occurs inside your suite. Thank you for your cooperation.

Parking is free of charge at all Divi Resorts on Aruba as well as at Alhambra Casino and Shops. Although our parking lot is well lit and regularly patrolled, we recommend that you lock your car doors and windows, and do not leave valuables or your room key in your vehicle.
