CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERS - Divi Resorts
Divi Resorts is an eclectic collection of eight colorful beachfront Caribbean vacation resorts located on five beautiful Caribbean islands -- Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, St. Croix, and St. Maarten. If you are a highly skilled and quality-oriented repairs and maintenance manager with excellent facilities/equipment leadership and employee relations skills, you could ramp up Divi's preventive maintenance programs for Divi's guest rooms, kitchen and restaurant equipment, a/c & refrigeration equipment, front office systems, and swimming pools. Will direct, plan, organize, staff and lead all functions of Maintenance and Engineering Department at one of our beautiful full service, mixed use resorts by selecting, training and directing activities of R&M department and contracted staff, including unskilled labor. Responsibilities include purchasing, cost controls, preparing contract and bid-related documents, developing/implementing project design, budget and schedule goals, resort R&M standards and performance management. Requires 3 years of directly related experience in hotel and/or resort maintenance, plus Engineering or related bachelor's degree. Must have current electrical certification, and/or plumbing certification, and/or A/C refrigeration certification with prior work experience in each area. Verifiable work history demonstrating leadership and organizational skills required.
