For over 50 years, we have focused on ensuring our guests enjoy healthy and safe Caribbean vacations. We have reviewed every area of our health and cleanliness procedures. Our enhanced CLEAN CHECK program follows the recommendations of the CDC, the WHO, and the Ministries of Health on each island.
Guests can spot the CLEAN CHECK symbol throughout our resorts. We want our guests to have confidence every time they book a Divi Resorts vacation with peace of mind from check-in to farewell.
Our staff has always been deeply engaged in meeting and warmly greeting our guests, and that will never change. To continue this tradition, our staff will now meet, greet, and thank all guests with a hand on their heart. Mask guidelines for staff and guests follow island government protocols, and masking may no longer be required.
WE’VE FOCUSED ON IMPORTANT TOUCHPOINTS
We have updated and advanced our hygiene practices and protocols to cover twelve key areas:
Pre-arrival, lobby front desks, concierge desks, furniture, and equipment will be continuously cleaned, and all room keys will be sanitized.
Hand sanitizer will be located in or near lobby entrances.
Staff members will wear masks when required by island government protocols. Please note, as island regulations change, some islands may not require masks for staff or guests. Please check with the front desk upon arrival.
Hand sanitizers will be located at all restaurant and bars.
Restaurants, bars and kitchens will be deep cleaned and sanitized and kitchen staff will be required to use gloves. All staff members will be required to have a ServSafe Food Handlers certification and a Food Safety Coordinator dedicated to food and beverage operation.
Water sports equipment will be sanitized after use
Divi Dive Bonaire’s dive operation will have special handling protocols and strict cleaning measures in place for all dive equipment, and tanks, seats and rails will be sanitized between diving trips
Golf carts and all golf rental equipment will be disinfected after use
Playground, miniature golf and outdoor equipment will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day
Public bathrooms, BBQ areas, and all high-traffic areas will be sanitized throughout the day and hand sanitizer locations will be added throughout each resort
All staff members will be required to take social distancing and health and safety training.
