After exiting the airport, turn right onto the main island road and remain on this road until the first intersection. Turn left, and then make a sharp right curve at the end of the road. Continue on this road until you see the resort entrance on your left.

There is no public transportation system in Bonaire. Taxi service and car rental is available, and Bonaire is a relatively easy island to navigate. Where is Bonaire?
In the Dutch Caribbean, about 50 miles north of Venezuela. It is 25 miles long and 3-4 miles wide. The Dutch influence has produced a very stable infrastructure and one of the highest standards of living in the area.

How do I get there?
Several airlines service Bonaire including: American Airlines/American Eagle, Air Jamaica, Air Alm, & KLM. Contact our booking office or your travel professional for details. The flying time from Miami is 2 hours 40 min.

What's the weather like?
85 degrees year round, with trade winds to keep you cool. 15 inches of rain per year, usually in the fall. We are 11 degrees North of the equator and the sun is very strong. High factor sunscreen is essential.

What is there to do on Bonaire at night?
If you're looking for Miami Beach, forget it, however there are many good restaurants and lively bars just a short walk from the hotel. There is the worlds first " barefoot casino " on property and a small disco in the center of town. Most restaurants will stop serving around 10 p.m., with the bars open to 1am.

Do they speak English?
Yes. Although Dutch is the official language and Papamiento is the common language, most people speak English.

What about the currency?
US dollars are accepted right over the counter. Be sure to ask for change in $ if that's what you want. Otherwise you'll get Antillean Guilders which exchange at the rate of 1.78 to the $. (exchange rate subject to change)

Where is Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino?
